OUR STORY
In 2000, when Mr. Rakesh Jones completed education and returned to his hometown, he saw his father, in addition to his profession, teaching various crafts to a group of women from nearby villages, which he obtained from his work education courses. Learning and socializing took place at this time so the ladies could go out into the world and use their acquired skills to make a living.
Mr. Jones, who has an 8-year background in art school, intended to begin his career in the textile industry. He noticed that fashion firms were unable to prosper owing to a lack of producing their own and customized ideas in modest numbers. On the other hand, despite obtaining the greatest possible training, women were not utilizing their strengths due to an inadequate platform and were not able to create revenue.
Considering this, he came up with the concept of providing a platform through which fashion brands and craftspeople could emerge. So he approached fashion enterprises and offered to develop and manufacture their designs. He thanks the firms that gave him the chance to do what he loves, which instantly created a platform for the craftspeople to grow professionally and financially for a better quality of life.
During this journey, he recognized his aims and objectives of providing great service to global fashion brands of all sizes and encouraging women's empowerment, thus he established MK Handicraft in 2008 with a few friends and colleagues.

What We Do
Ratan Tata's renowned saying, "If you want to walk fast, walk alone." "If you want to walk far, walk together" has served as motivation for MK's team of creative and technical experts. Additionally, it has shown its ability to generate innovative ideas while interacting. Along the way, the crew encountered many challenges and setbacks, but their resilience and capacity to learn from their errors allowed them to emerge victorious. When a scarf or a Shawl or a beachwear or even a small hand embroidered motif or whatever MK’s Produces , is on someone that is a source of pride ,which passes through lots of hands makes the particular style an exclusive whether that is clients own design or MK’s Creation.
The team behind the success of each item works hard from fabric selection, patterns, colors, workmanship, thorough inspection, to its ultimate destination. Furthermore, every minute detail of the product in all technical aspects is meticulously maintained so that manufacturing runs smoothly. Each time a fashion label collaborates with MK Handicraft, the team makes it’s only priority to ensure that the client is pleased with the outcome.
